Dragon Underwater exothermic cutting rods will burn most materials and can be used like any other oxygen-arc cutting electrodes. Once ignited the electrode will burn by means of an exothermic reaction. When cutting without power a 12 VDC battery may be used for ignition only which is an added safety margin against the possibility of electrical shock.
