This is a spoolgun kit the fits on most Century and Solar Mig welders. (If your mig gun has a brass clamp that tightens up to hold in the mig gun , you must make a new one for the spool gun to work- this is not supplied with the package)

Migs that are over 120 amps are required to weld 1/8" aluminum and heavier. The gun is 12' long and takes a 1 lb spool of aluminum or 2 lb spool of steel, stainless steel , silicon bronze and more. This requires you to install a switch, a 4 pin receptacle, remove the plug from your century mig gun and put on a miller trigger plug ,  take the removed century trigger wire plug and wire it to the new switch. Unhook the drive motor power wires and hook those to the switch and and run new wires to the drive motor from the switch . Installing the switch and 4 pin receptacle require drilling aholes in the front panel . The spoolgun is a Miller Spoolmate 100 spoolgun with a century adapter added .    Time to install is 45 to 60 minutes. Your machine must be able to switch polarity ( not a flux only machine ) Machines that are 150 amps and up will do better and weld heavier materials  than 90 to to 120 amp machines .
