Portability is number one – the Passport contains all you need to MIG weld in one small, lightweight (45 lbs.) package. Self-contained gas cylinder provides 25 minutes of welding time. The cylinder holds 12 oz. of CO2. That’s 25 ft. of weld on 3/16” thick material with .030” mild steel MIG wire. One empty cylinder is included with the system. (Note: the cylinder CANNOT be used with mixed gases). NEW PASSPORT PLUS Upgraded fron the regular Passport , now with the ability to hook up the new Miller Spoolmate 100 Spoolgun so doing aluminum in the field is easier than ever. Auto-Line™ provides state-of-the-art flexibility to the end user. The Auto-Line circuitry automatically connects to 115/230 VAC, single-phase power without removing the cover to re-link the welder. No longer is there a concern if you have the correct machine to match the shop or job site power. MILLER EXCLUSIVE! Multi-voltage plug allows you to connect to common 115 or 230 VAC power receptacles without the use of any tools – choose the plug that fits the receptacle and connect it to the power cord. Durable cast aluminum feed head incorporates dual-groove, quick-change drove rolls and spring-loaded tension arm with calibrated tension knob; all designed to make setup easier and faster. Impact-resistant case provides strength and durability, protecting the internal components and welding wire. Handy side storage pouch for work cable and clamp, M-10 MIG gun, adaptors and power cable. Carries 8 inch spool of welding wire - convenient size spool for most wire types. High quality arc characteristics feature positive arc starts without popping and spatter, high stability, low spatter CO2 welding. With arc control you can select between a crisp arc characteristic weld, suited for mild steel or a softer characteristic suited for stainless steel and some mild steel applications requiring a softer arc. Dual gas supply selects between the internal CO2 gas supply when you’re on the move or external bulk cylinder when you’re in the shop or need mixed gas. Fan-On-Demand™ the fan only operates when the welder requires cooling – saving power and keeping the inside of the power supply clean.
