Smith Little Torch


 

When you pick up The Little Torch, you know immediately that you are holding a magnificent instrument which will enable you to extend your skills far beyond all previous limits.  It produces a pinpoint flame for highly accurate soldering operations.  The Little Torch is capable of brazing and soldering the tiniest elements, yet produces enough heat to weld 1/8" ( 3mm ) thick steel.  It is just a fraction wider and longer than your middle finger.

This superbly balanced torch with a rugged aluminum alloy body weighs only 1.5 ounces.  The Little Torch features a thin, extremely lightweight hose which provides added maneuverability.  In short, The Little Torch is designed to meet the most exacting industrial standards for a small, multi-purpose torch.

The Little Torch has unmatched flexibility - it can be used with several fuels including acetylene, hydrogen, propane , proplyene, MAPP, or natural gas.  It produces a perfectly controled, completely stable flame hot enough to melt commerically weldable metals, glass and even ceramics.  It may also be used with special heating tips to melt up to 3 oz. of gold or silver.  Excellent for soldering platinum.  Note: 1 PSI is minimum fuel pressure, if using natural gas.

 

It's the complete works in a handy self contained lightweight unit.  These highly portable kits come complete with everything you need for your soldering or brazing operations.  Kit includes tank, regulators, safety check valve, five tips, torch and hoses all in a handy carrying case.  Oxygen and acetylene cylinders can be filled at most welding supply stores.  Kits weigh less than 32 lbs.
